  By Grace Ade A 12-year-old Nigerian actor, Chibuchi David Francis from Aniocha South Delta state, has won a bronze medal in the Acting category (Ages 11–12) at the 2026 World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA), bringing international recognition to Nigeria at one of the world's foremost performing arts competitions. The championship, held from July 13 to July 21 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, attracted performers from more than 80 countries competing across acting, singing, dancing, modelling, instrumental performance and other creative disciplines. Ghana’s cordial cross-party leadership offers continental blueprint for democratic resilience – new ACCP-UPF research

By Mathew Sandra A landmark research paper co-published by the African Chamber of Content Producers (ACCP) and the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Ghana has identified the respectful, cross-party relationships among Ghana’s parliamentary leaders as a primary driver of the country’s democratic stability. The study, which surveyed 400 citizens across seven regions of Ghana, concludes that when political leaders model cordiality across party lines, their followers see no reason for conflict, a lesson the researchers say can be replicated across Africa. The paper, titled “Institutionalizing a Strong and Responsible Opposition for Democratic Resilience in Africa: A Ghana Case Study (2025/2026 Review)” , is already available as a preprint on ResearchGate, Academia.edu, Zenodo, and SSRN.
