The Peace Initiative Committee of Ogun Central has confirmed the death of one of its members following a tragic incident in Ake, Abeokuta. In an official statement, the Committee disclosed that Eluwa Joseph, a dedicated member known for his contributions to community peace efforts, lost his life as a result of the incident. Another member, Bayo Abayomi, sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment under close supervision. According to preliminary information available to the Committee, including accounts from the injured party, the incident reportedly followed an altercation allegedly involving Ese Musiliu. The Committee emphasized, however, that these details remain subject to ongoing investigation, and no final conclusions have been established. “The loss of Eluwa Joseph is deeply painful to all of us.
